Ingredients (1 serving)
- 2 1/2 cups oats
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flaxseed
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2/3 cup raisins (optional)
- 2/3 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds (optional)
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut (optional)
Preparation (45 minutes)
1️⃣ In a food processor, blend the oats, brown sugar, and flaxseed.
2️⃣ If the oats are coarse, process well until they become a finer flour.
3️⃣ If the oats are medium or fine, process lightly just to incorporate and avoid sugar clumps.
4️⃣ In a bowl, mix the processed flour with the remaining ingredients (choose at least one optional ingredient).
5️⃣ Place the mixture on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 180ºC (350ºF).
6️⃣ Stir when it’s lightly toasted on top.
7️⃣ Stir every 5 minutes until the granola is evenly and lightly toasted.
